DigiPen (Singapore) provides educational opportunities for pre-university students seeking to learn more about academic subjects in art and technology. Students receive expert guidance and instruction as they take part in hands-on projects and assignments.

Creator Studio Series

The Creator Studio Series is designed for prospective students who want to gain first-hand insight into the world of digital entertainment and experience what studying in the BA in Digital Entertainment and Creative Technology program is really like. Whether you’re an aspiring artist, designer, producer, or digital storyteller, this is a valuable opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the DigiPen experience.

Guided by DigiPen’s full-time faculty, each hands-on workshop provides an authentic learning experience that reflects real industry and production workflows. Participants will work in a studio-based environment where creativity, technical skills, and professional practices come together to mirror the realities of digital entertainment production.

DigiPen (Singapore) currently offers three workshops on digital entertainment production. Students may choose to attend one, two, or all three workshops.

• Workshop 1: Urban Sketching and Color Studies

  Learn urban sketching fundamentals — such as perspective, composition, and visual storytelling — while drawing from real-life observations in the Punggol Digital District, then use AI tools to enhance your sketches with color, lighting, and creative experimentation.

• Workshop 2: Observational Figure Drawing and Character Design Turntable

  Learn figure drawing fundamentals such as anatomy, movement, and expression through observational studies of a live model, then use AI tools to turn your sketches into full character designs.

• Workshop 3: Story and Film Creation

  Learn to develop your own short story by combining traditional storytelling techniques with AI tools, from sketching characters to creating storyboards. This workshop culminates in an AI- assisted video generation exercise, showing how ideas can quickly evolve into moving visuals while retaining creative authorship.
