The Master of Arts in Creative Technology (MACT) is a graduate-level program that equips students with advanced, interdisciplinary skills at the intersection of art, design, and technology. Students develop depth in a chosen area of creative technology — such as real-time cinematics, procedural art, generative AI, or virtual production — through intensive studio-based practice and technical specialization.
Breadth is achieved through integrated coursework in production management, media histories, design innovation, and business strategy, enabling students to contextualize their creative work within broader artistic, historical, and professional frameworks. Emphasis is placed on both independent and collaborative project development, preparing students for leadership in emerging fields across film, animation, games, XR, and immersive media.
Graduates of the program will demonstrate artistic autonomy, critical thinking, and technical mastery, culminating in a capstone project reviewed by a faculty panel to assess professional readiness.
