The Bachelor of Arts in Digital Entertainment and Creative Technology (BA DECT) welcomes passionate and creative students who aspire to build a career in animation, digital media, and creative technology.
Academic Qualifications
Applicants must submit official high school transcripts and certificates, or equivalent qualifications.
Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level
Local Polytechnics, NAFA, LASALLE Diploma
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
NUSH School Diploma
China high school or equivalent
Any academic transcripts and certificates issued in a language other than English must be submitted together with the original documents and an official, notarized English translation. Please do not have grades converted or interpreted in any way.
Proof of Proficiency in the English Language
Non-native English speakers must provide one of the following:
TOEFL iBT
A minimum TOEFL iBT score of 40 for tests completed before 21 January 2026 (DI Code: 1493).
A minimum TOEFL iBT score of 2.5 for tests taken on or after 21 January 2026 (DI Code: 1493).
IELTS Academic: 5
Duolingo English Test: 90
The English proficiency requirement may be waived if the applicant has graduated from an English-medium high school.
Personal Statement (Optional)
Applicants may submit a 300 to 500-word personal statement to share their motivation, creative interests, and learning goals. While optional, this statement provides an opportunity to demonstrate readiness for an English-medium, project-based program and to highlight relevant experiences or artistic inspirations.
Online Interview
Applicants who pass the portfolio stage will be invited for an online interview.
Purpose: To assess motivation, confidence, readiness, and suitability
Conducted by: Faculty members
Focus: Understanding applicants as individuals
The interview is not for re-evaluating portfolios and will be conducted in English.
