MA in Creative Technology Admissions Requirements 

To be considered for admission to the Master of Arts in Creative Technology program, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in digital art, animation, game design, interactive media, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrate foundational skills in 2D/3D digital content creation, supported by a portfolio.

• Submit a complete application including:

  • Statement of purpose outlining creative/technical goals
  • Academic transcripts
  • Creative portfolio
  • Resume/CV
  • Letters of recommendation (optional but encouraged)
• International applicants must meet English proficiency requirements through TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent.

Qualified DigiPen BFA/BA graduates may be eligible for accelerated completion pathways based on course mapping.
